In Varsha's words
My love for teaching started at KPMG, where I took DipIFRS weekend batches for our clients. While most people were catching up on sleep, I was in a classroom, and honestly, I was never happier. Watching someone finally get a concept they’d struggled with all week gave me a feeling no month-end close ever did.
After 11 years across EY, KPMG, Hitachi Energy and Fivetran, I kept seeing smart finance people spending their best hours on work AI could do in minutes. They weren’t short on talent. They just didn’t know where to begin, and nobody was explaining it in the language of accounting. That Saturday classroom feeling came right back. So I went back to teaching, this time AI for finance professionals, and 2,890+ of them have learned it with me so far.
I still believe AI won’t replace the finance person. But a finance person who knows how to use it will outwork one who doesn’t. And I’d love to be the one who helps them get there.
Background
Varsha qualified as a Chartered Accountant and went on to earn the CFA charter and the DipIFRS. Over 11 years she has worked across Big 4 firms, multinational companies and US tech startups. She was previously at EY, KPMG, Hitachi Energy and Fivetran.
She is not only an AI trainer. She is a finance professional who has worked the close, the reconciliations and the audit queries first-hand, and she builds AI around the problems finance teams actually face. Her case studies come from real reconciliation and compliance problems, not toy datasets.
